Chance always operates within a system, in other words it has certain parameters. Think about a dice – the system of chance is that there are 6 sides each with a number. One only number faces up at any given time. A series is the exploration of one idea multiple times. Multiple iterations of the same idea. With chance processes a series will allow us to see the different outcomes of chance.
